I’m not prone to superstition, but for some reason the shutter on my F3hp was hanging up all day so half my shots were ruined, grossly overexposed on the right of the frame. It worked fine the day before and it worked fine the day following. Ghosts, jinxes, or the gawds being rude on this ominous date, I don’t know but odd regardless.

Genius!!!
I just stumbled across your site today. Great. I’ll be back daily.
I love beach shots. They are difficult to make. I’ve been to Coney Island twice, once in 1975 and again this year. The shots I got in ’75 were not much different than the ones I took recently. It seems timeless. I envy your proximity. Wonderful photos.
@william: Coney Island is a time machine of americana. I’ve loved it since the first time I visited. Remarkable people just being how they want to be. But can be a tough crowd if you don’t handle it properly.
Pappageorgian. Really nice.
Intense shit!
