Goldsworthy is very inspirational, because, besides being original, he makes you wonder on the possibilities of imagination and creativity. I’ve seen his video Rivers and tides and you can tell how dedicated ans simple he is. I am grateful for not only his work but for his effort.

Wow, for all the student’s doing research on Andy Goldsworthy and asking about names of his works, you need to be reading the numerous publications which he puts out on his work with his photographs. It’s called library research — stacks time.

I too am doing a project on Goldsworthy. If anyone finds the first image I’d love to be able to use it and cite it. It’s quite different than others with its brilliant colors. If anyone knows where to find that first image, please msg me m.a.g.i.L.d.L -AT- y.a.h.o.o. (no periods)

I too am a fan of this mans work. The yorkshire Sculpture Park has been lucky enough to have Goldsworthy as artist in residence twice in recent years. If you get a chance to visit it is well worth it as it displays his work outside in the natural landscape of wild yorkshire. Work similar to the dead elm can be seen using drystone walls as an inspiration.
Go on – be brave and head north to the wilds of yorkshire and visit this fantastic sculpture park.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the name if these particular pieces. Goldsworthy has a very nice book out of this work though, and it should have the names amongst other information on these pieces. I’d guess you could find it at major bookstores, as he’s pretty mainstream. Best of luck.

goldsworthys works are so powerful wouldnt it be woderful to be just walking through an uninhabited part of any country to find this wonderfully human made but yet still natural pieces

Goldsworthy must be all the rage right now (deservedly), b/c you’re not the first to inquire about these images. Unfortunately I’m not going to be much help, b/c I pulled these pics from different (and now forgotten) corners of the web. Sorry. As a starting point I’d suggest seeing what galleries sell his work, museums that have it in their collections, and so on. Good luck.
